High blood pressure does not usually have any symptoms, so you may not feel ill if there is any change in the blood pressure. Therefore, this medicine may not make you feel “better”. This does not mean that you can stop the medicine as they are working in the background to reduce your risk of serious illness.
Conclusions: Telmisartan effectively and safely reduced blood pressure and brought about regression of proteinuria in diabetic and nondiabetic, hypertensive, proteinuric patients with chronic kidney disease, even in those with mild-to-moderate chronic renal failure.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed one and take the next scheduled dose. If not sure then you can consult your doctor for other ways to help you remember.
