Tazloc AM 40mg/5mg Tablet is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains Telmisartan (40mg), an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), and Amlodipine (5mg), a calcium channel blocker (CCB), which work together to relax blood vessels, lower blood pressure, and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Avoid excessive alcohol, as it may lower blood pressure too much.
Not recommended, as it may harm the baby.
Use under medical supervision.
Monitor kidney function regularly if you have kidney disease.
Use with caution in liver disease—dose adjustments may be needed.
Avoid driving if you experience dizziness or fatigue.
Telmisartan prevents the narrowing of blood vessels, lowering blood pressure. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels, improving blood circulation and reducing the heart’s workload. Together, they effectively control high blood pressure, reducing complications like stroke and heart attacks.
Synergistic Effect- refers to the phenomenon in which when two or more drugs combine show greater effect comparfatively when those drugs act individually.
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) – A condition where blood pressure is persistently elevated, increasing the risk of stroke, heart failure, and kidney disease. Coronary Artery Disease – A condition where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the heart, increasing the risk of heart attacks. Heart Failure – A condition where the heart struggles to pump blood efficiently, leading to fluid buildup and fatigue.
Tazloc AM 40mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan and Amlodipine that effectively lowers blood pressure, improves heart function, and reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke. It is safe for long-term use but requires regular monitoring.
