Zaha Eye Drop is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby however, there are limited human studies.
Zaha Eye Drop is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.<BR>It should be wiped off thoroughly prior to nursing if it is being applied to the breast or nipple area.
It is not known whether Zaha Eye Drop alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Zaha Eye Drop is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.
Azithromycin ophthalmic (eye) solution is used to treat infections of the eye, such as bacterial conjunctivitis. Azithromycin belongs to a group of medicines called macrolide antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria that cause conjunctivitis.
Chloromycetin Eye Drops and Ointment are topical antibiotic preparations for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis. Bacterial conjunctivitis is a highly contagious bacterial infection involving the mucous membrane of the surface of the eye.
Ciprofloxacin ophthalmic solution is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye including conjunctivitis (pinkeye; infection of the membrane that covers the outside of the eyeball and the inside of the eyelid) and corneal ulcers (infection and loss of tissue in the clear front part of the eye).
Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the tube close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the tube and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid.
Zaha is safe if used at prescribed doses for the prescribed duration as advised by your doctor.
Azithromycin is used in the treatment of bacterial infections and typhoid fever. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia).
Hold the tube close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the tube and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. What if you forget to take Zaha Eye Ointment? If you miss a dose of Zaha Eye Ointment, use it as soon as possible.
You should inform your doctor if you do not notice any improvement in your symptoms after 3 days of taking Zaha. Also, if your symptoms get worse, inform your doctor immediately.
The use of Zaha should be restricted to the eyes only. Always use Zaha as advised by your doctor. Check with your doctor if you are not sure. Wash your hands before using the eye drops and pour one drop of this medicine in the affected eye. Use it for 3 days, in the morning and in the evening. Remember not to use this medicine for more than 3 days, even if you have residual signs of infection. Zaha has prolonged action and will continue to work once you complete the 3 day course. You should wash your hands before using the eye drops. Take care not to touch the eye or eyelids with the dropper tip of the container.
