How To Use Azithral Eye Drop 3ml

  • This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

How do you use azithromycin eye ointment?

Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place 1 drop into the pouch, usually twice daily (8 to 12 hours apart) for the first 2 days and then once daily for the next 5 days or as directed by your doctor. Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes.

How should Azithral be used?

The use of Azithral should be restricted to the eyes only. Always use Azithral as advised by your doctor. Check with your doctor if you are not sure. Wash your hands before using the eye drops and pour one drop of this medicine in the affected eye. Use it for 3 days, in the morning and in the evening. Remember not to use this medicine for more than 3 days, even if you have residual signs of infection. Azithral has prolonged action and will continue to work once you complete the 3 day course. You should wash your hands before using the eye drops. Take care not to touch the eye or eyelids with the dropper tip of the container.
