Before taking this medicine, check if you are not pregnant already or it is being more than 5 days you miss your period or its already 72 hours of unprotected sex. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding. It is generally advisable to perform pregnancy test after 5 days of medicine usage, to make sure medicine works properly.
How Restrikt 1.5mg Tablet Works?
Restrikt 1.5mg Tablet is a progestin (female hormones). It works to prevent pregnancy by temporarily stopping the release of an egg from the ovary, or preventing fertilization (union) of the egg by sperm. It may also alter the lining of the uterus (womb) to stop a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus.
How To Use Restrikt 1.5mg Tablet
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Restrikt 1.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
