Nortipan-M Tablet SR is a combination medicine used to treat neuropathic pain. It works by decreasing pain by controlling calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. It helps in regulating the mood and protect nerve fibers.
It is a combination of three medicines: Pregabalin, Nortriptyline and Methylcobalamin.
Pregabalin decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline increases the levels of chemical messengers that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Methylcobalamin helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.
Nortipan-M Tablet SR may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Nortipan-M Tablet SR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor.
Nortipan-M Tablet SR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding.
Nortipan-M Tablet SR may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Nortipan-M Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
