Clindamycin is an antibiotic that kills acne-causing bacteria from penetrating the skin. This active constituent prevents bacterial growth by blocking bacterial protein synthesis. Its bacteriostatic effect prevents the multiplication of bacteria. This combination prevents the accumulation of sebum on the skin, works to unblock the pores, and exfoliates the outer layer of the skin.
