Ktl-Plus Eye Drops is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Ketorolac which treat eye infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. Ketorolac a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye.
Usually, Ktl-Plus starts working soon after applying it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and make you feel better.
No, do not stop applying Ktl-Plus and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
