Bioket Plus Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Ketorolac which treat eye infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. Ketorolac a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) in the eye.
Usually, Bioket Plus starts working soon after applying it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and make you feel better.
No, do not stop applying Bioket Plus and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
