Introduction to Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet 6s

Gynaemed Vaginal Tablet 6s is a type of antifungal treatment meant specifically for topical utilization. It falls under the pharmaceutical category of antifungals.

Clotrimazole operates by breaking down the defensive layer around fungal cells, causing a disruption in their membrane through the restriction of ergosterol production (an essential component of the fungal membrane). Clotrimazole thwarts the development and replication of fungal cells, effectively hindering their survival.

Adhere to your physician's guidance regarding clotrimazole's advised dosage and duration. Prior to application, adequately agitate the container to confirm uniform distribution on the infected area.

Probable side effects may encompass skin exfoliation, itchiness, reddening, a burning sensation, or irritation on the application site.

Do not utilize it if you exhibit a known hypersensitivity or allergy to it or any of its constituents. Allergic reactions might appear as a rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty in breathing. If any indications of an allergic response eventuate, cease use and immediately seek medical consultation.

The cream or solution is not developed for use in the ocular region. If you have a fungal infection in or near the eyes, seek advice from a medical professional for suitable ophthalmic antifungal treatment.

In the event you forget to apply this medication, do it as soon as you remember. However, if the time for the next application is close, disregard the forgotten dose and carry on with your regular schedule. Refrain from doubling applications. Consult your physician for managing effectively missed doses.

Always abide by your healthcare provider's specific directions and stay vigilant for any unwelcome reactions or discomfort while administered the medication.
