Vymada Tablet works by combining the effects of Sacubitril and Valsartan to improve heart function and reduce cardiovascular stress. Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin, an enzyme responsible for breaking down heart-protective peptides. By blocking neprilysin, more beneficial peptides remain in the bloodstream, helping to relax blood vessels, decrease fluid buildup, and reduce strain on the heart. Valsartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), prevents blood vessel constriction by blocking the effects of angiotensin II. Together, these mechanisms help prevent the progression of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), reducing the risk of hospitalization and improving overall heart function.
Medication adherence can be understand as a time period to which patients stick to the prescribed medicine as suggested by their doctor.
Heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) occurs when the heart cannot pump enough blood, leading to fatigue, breathlessness, and fluid retention.
