This formula is generally prescribed to children to treat cough, runny nose, sneezing, body ache, sore throat, watery eyes, and fever These symptoms are usually related to hay fever, common cold, and other respiratory conditions
Use with caution; tests for liver function may need to be monitored often.
Refrain from consuming alcohol while using this medication.
If impacted, avoid driving since it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.
In patients with impaired renal function, use with caution.
This formulation has been prepared from the combination of Chlorpheniramine maleate and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine inhibits histamine, which relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itching. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that stops the body from making histamine during an allergic reaction. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that makes breathing easier by treating swelling and congestion by contracting the blood vessels present in the nasal passages.
