Tobox Eye Drop is a combination of two antibiotics: Tobramycin and Moxifloxacin which treat eye infections. Tobramycin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Moxifloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Usually, Tobox starts working soon after applying it. However, it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and make you feel better.
No, do not stop applying Tobox and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
