Telvas H 40/12.5 Tablet is a combination of two drugs Telmisartan and Hydrochlorthiazide used to control hypertension (a condition characterized by high blood pressure). It is used generally when the treatment from a single drug is not much effective.
TELMA H can lower blood pressure and thereby reduce the risk of heart diseases like heart attack or stroke.
Consuming alcohol increase blood pressure and interfere with the efficacy of the drug; it is advised to stop consuming alcohol if you are running on the medication for hypertension.
