How Sucral-O Suspension 200ml works

This medicine is prepared from the combination of two medicines: Sucralfate and Oxetacaine. Sucralfate is an effective salt for ulcer treatment. These ulcers form a protective covering of tissue near the stomach, which protects against acid and injury and facilitates healing. Oxetacaine is a local anaesthetic so its numbing effect extends relief from pain caused by ulcers and acid injuries.

Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. Follow the directions on the prescription label. This medicine works best if you take it on an empty stomach, 1 hour before meals. Take your doses at regular intervals.

Is sucralfate good for acid reflux?

Carafate (sucralfate) and omeprazole are used to treat ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Omeprazole is also used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, duodenitis, erosive esophagitis, heartburn, and H. pylori infection.
