Use with caution; tests for liver function may need to be monitored often.
Refrain from consuming alcohol while using this medication.
If impacted, avoid driving since it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.
In patients with impaired renal function, use with caution.
This formulation has been prepared from the combination of two medicines: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide and Chlorpheniramine maleate which relieve dry cough. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that provides relief from cough by reducing the activity of the cough centre of the brain. Chlorpheniramine maleate inhibits histamine, which relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itching. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that stops the body from making histamine during an allergic reaction.
