It contains three active ingredients Hydroquinone, Mometasone, and Tretinoin. Mometasone is a steroid that lowers redness, swelling, and itching. Hydroquinone lightens the skin tone by stopping the synthesis of melanin. Tretinoin is a form of retinoid that increases cell multiplication and renews the skin.
Melasma is a common skin condition causing dark, discolored, brown-gray patches on the face. It is often triggered by sun exposure, hormonal changes, or pregnancy.
Follow the directions given by the doctor. Apply the medicine thinly and in sufficient quantity to cover the affected areas. Skin Shine is usually applied two or three times a day to the affected areas of skin.
