How Sinarest Syrup 60ml works

This formulation has been prepared from the combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine maleate, Phenylephrine, and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, and Sodium citrate. Chlorpheniramine inhibits histamine, which relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itching. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that stops the body from making histamine during an allergic reaction. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that makes breathing easier by treating swelling and congestion by contracting the blood vessels present in the nasal passages. Paracetamol is an antipyretic and a pain reliever. It inhibits several chemical messengers from the brain responsible for the sensation of pain and cause inflammation. Sodium citrate breaks down mucus and facilitates its removal from the respiratory tract.
