The anti-bacterial property of Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis which leads to cell lysis and cell death. Sulbactam; Prevents enzyme-mediated antibiotic resistance by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzyme and increases the effectiveness of Cefixime.
