Introduction to Rozbook 20mg Tablet

Rozbook 20mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called ‘Statins’. It is effective in lowering down the cholesterol level in the body and alleviates the risk of heart disease

  • This medicine is prescribed widely by the healthcare professionals and is considered to be safe even when used in long run. You can take it at any time of the day but taking it at the same time will have more effect.
  • Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor as it may pose the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Disease Explanation

thumbnail.sv

Cholesterol is found in all of our cells. Cells need it to keep their membranes just the right consistency. LDL, or low-density lipoprotein, is “bad cholesterol”. It carries cholesterol that can stick to arteries, collect in the vessel lining forming plaque, and sometimes block blood flow. HDL, or high-density lipoprotein, is “good cholesterol”. It takes cholesterol away from the blood and returns it to the liver.
