Rhoclone 300mcg Injection is given for Rh prophylaxis in pregnancy related complications. It is also approved for Incompatible transfusions in Rh-negative individuals transfused with blood components containing Rh-positive red blood cells (RBCs). It is approved for immune thrombocytopenic purpura condition with decreased number of circulating platelets leading to easy bruising.Your doctor or nurse will give you this injection. Kindly do not self administer. The injection is given into a muscle normally it is given in the upper arm. You will routinely be offered an anti-D injection routinely at 28 weeks of pregnancy and within 72 hours of birth, if your baby is Rh D positive.

Anti-Rh D immunoglobulin belongs to class of drugs called immunoglobulin. It removes or nullifies any fetal rhesus-D positive red blood cells that enter the rhesus-D negative maternal blood stream during childbirth, abortion, or any accident or intervention during pregnancy which might lead to bleeding across the placenta.
