Regonat Tablet contain Regorafenib. Regonat Tablet is an anti-cancer medication used in the treatment of cancer of colon and rectum.
It works by blocking the action of the abnormal protein that signals cancer cells to multiply. This helps to stop or slow the spread of cancer cells.
Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.
Regonat Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Regonat Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advised while you are taking this medicine. Use of Regonat Tablet is not recommended in patients with the severe liver disease.
Regonat Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Regonat Tablet is recommended. However, limited information is available on use of Regonat Tablet in patients with severe kidney disease.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Regonat Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
It is not known whether Regonat Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Regonat Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
Regonat Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
