Hydroxyurea: Interferes with the synthesis of DNA, slowing the growth of cancer cells. In sickle cell anemia, it helps increase the production of fetal hemoglobin, which reduces the formation of sickle cells and decreases the frequency of pain episodes.

• Dosage: Follow the dosage prescribed by your healthcare provider, typically taken once daily.
• The dosage may vary based on the condition being treated and the patient’s response to therapy.
• Administration: Take the capsule orally with a glass of water.
• It can be taken with or without food.
