Proxicef Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Proxicef Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Proxicef Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Proxicef Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Proxicef Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Lactobacillus. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
