Profol Spiva 1% Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby however, there are limited human studies.
Profol Spiva 1% Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Profol Spiva 1% Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Profol Spiva 1% Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Profol Spiva 1% Injection is recommended.<BR>However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Use of Profol Spiva 1% Injection can cause green discoloration of urine.
Profol Spiva 1% Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Profol Spiva 1% Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Profol Spiva 1% Injection is a general anaesthetic. It works by causing reversible loss of consciousness. This allows surgical procedures to be carried out without pain and distress.
