Aspirin may interfere with the working of Planep due to which your blood pressure may not get adequately controlled. Aspirin and Planep may increase the chances of rise in potassium levels in patients with kidney problems. Therefore, if both are to be used together, keep monitoring your blood pressure and potassium levels.

My blood pressure is now controlled, still the doctor has asked me to continue the treatment. Can I stop Planep?

No, you should not stop Planep. If your doctor has advised you to continue treatment, keep taking it. Planep does not cure blood pressure, but keeps the blood pressure in control. Therefore, keep taking the medicine even if your blood pressure is controlled. Stopping it may make your condition worse and you may have unwanted side effects.

When should I take Concor 2.5 mg?

Concor COR 2.5 Tablet can be taken anytime in the morning or evening, usually prescribed once daily. However, your very first dose of Concor COR 2.5 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, so it is better to take your first dose at bedtime. After that, if you do not feel dizzy, you may take it any time of the day.
