Active ingredients present in this medicine; Pirfenidone shows its activity by inhibiting the synthesis of transforming growth factor-beta and other pro-inflammatory cytokines. It retards lung fibrosis development by reducing collagen production and fibroblast proliferation. Working in this manner helps slow down lung scavenging and preserves the proper functioning of the lungs.
