How Pediscab Lotion works

Lindane: Acts as an insecticide and acaricide, which kills lice and scabies mites by penetrating their exoskeletons and affecting their nervous system, ultimately leading to their death.

How To Use Pediscab Lotion

  • Dosage: Follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider. Typically applied once.
  • Administration: Shake the bottle well before use.
  • For scabies: Apply a thin layer of lotion to clean, dry skin from the neck down to the toes. Leave the lotion on for 8-12 hours, then wash off thoroughly with soap and water.

How long does Pediscab take to show its effects?

You may see an improvement after 4-6 weeks of treatment. You may need to use this treatment for a longer duration to gain maximum benefit. Do not worry, this is normal for acne treatments. If your acne does not get better after 1 month or if it gets worse, talk to your doctor immediately.

You may apply moisturizer an hour after applying Pediscab. Consult your doctor in case of any doubt or concern.

Should Pediscab be left on overnight?

At the beginning of the treatment, Pediscab is usually used once daily in the evening. The area should not be washed after applying Pediscab. Leave it overnight unless you experience irritation. However, if you experience irritation, consult your doctor.

What precautions should be followed while applying Pediscab?

Use Pediscab only on your skin. Keep it away from your eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth and inside of the nose. Avoid contact with hair as Pediscab has strong bleaching properties. Consult your doctor for any other query related to Pediscab.
