It works by reducing stomach acid production through different mechanisms. Domperidone helps by promoting proper stomach emptying, and preventing reflux of stomach contents. Pantoprazole acts by inhibiting the function of the proton pump which interferes the acid production in the stomach by blocking certain pumps.
