How P 20mg Tablet works

P 20mg Tablet is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works in glaucoma by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

How To Use P 20mg Tablet

  • Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. P 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

No, you should not stop using P suddenly without talking to your doctor. This is because if you stop the medication before completing the treatment, your symptoms may return or even worsen. Use P in the dose and duration advised by your doctor to get maximum benefit of P.

What if I forget to take a dose of P?

If you forget a dose of P, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, take it in the regular schedule instead of taking the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
