Ofrivid-DX Eye/Ear Drops is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.<BR>To reduce the amount of Ofrivid-DX Eye/Ear Drops that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Ofrivid-DX Eye/Ear Drops may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.<BR>Ofrivid-DX Eye/Ear Drops may cause dizziness (vertigo). Changes in your eyesight or muscle weakness may also happen. This may affect your driving ability.

Ofrivid-DX Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin, Dexamethasone, and Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Dexamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation which moistens the eyes/ears.
