Novorapid 100IU/ml Solution for Injection is fast-acting insulin. It starts acting within 10-20 minutes after taking the injection. It works like your body's natural insulin. Insulin allows glucose reuptake in fat cells and muscle cells and also inhibits the release of glucose from the liver.
Take the missed dose as quickly as you recall. Avoid doubling up to compensate for a missed dose.
Diabetes Mellitus Type 1- The body does not produce enough insulin (a hormone that helps lower blood sugar levels) to regulate blood sugar levels. Diabetes Mellitus type 2 - Either the body stops producing enough insulin, or there is resistance to insulin action.
