How Neurokem Plus Capsule 10s works

This medicine is a combination of five nutritional supplements. Methylcobalamin is an active form of Vitamin B12 which promotes proper growth and development of cells, helps in protein synthesis, and myelin sheath; increases the production of blood cells, and protects the nerve fibers. Alpha Lipoic acid is an antioxidant that repairs damaged cells and helps in the restoration of vitamin levels in the body, it also improves nerve functions. Vitamin B6 and Vitamin D3 are nutritional supplements that promote growth and development by promoting essential metabolic functions in the body. Folic acid increases the production of blood in the body and provides essential nutrients to the nerves. Pregabalin quiets the overactive nerve signals.

Are there any serious side effects associated with the use of Neurokem Plus?

Serious side effects because of Neurokem Plus are uncommon and rare. However, it may cause serious side effects like an allergic reaction, suicidal thoughts or swelling of limbs (hands, legs or feet). Stop taking Neurokem Plus and contact your health care provider if you have any signs of these serious side effects. Signs of allergic reaction include swelling of your face, mouth, lips, gums, tongue and neck, trouble in breathing, skin rash, hives (raised bumps) or blisters. Pay attention to sudden changes in mood, behaviors, thoughts, or feelings as these may be a symptom of suicidal thoughts.

What if I take too much of this drug by mistake?

In a situation like this, contact your doctor immediately or seek emergency help at the nearest hospital. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning. You may need urgent medical attention. Symptoms of an overdose may include drowsiness, weakness, unsteadiness while walking, having double visions, slurred speech or diarrhea, confusion, blurred vision, dizziness, body temperature changes (low and high), difficulty in breathing and increased heartbeat.
