This is a prescription medicine that is made from a combination of two medicines and treats bacterial infections in the eye. It prevents bacterial growth in the eyes and treats redness, swelling, and itching. 

How Moxiford D Eye Drop 5ml works

This formulation is prepared from the combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Tobramycin. Dexamethasone is a steroidal preparation that relieves eye redness, itchiness, and swelling by blocking the production of prostaglandin (a chemical messenger). Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that prevents bacteria from dividing and repairing which is necessary for the survival of bacteria.

How To Use Moxiford D Eye Drop 5ml

  • This medicine is used only externally.
  • If the medicine ever gets into your nose, wash your eyes and mouth immediately with plenty of water.
  • You have to follow the instructions given by the doctor, follow the dose and duration.
  • Read the label carefully to know how to use.
  • Place the dropper near your eyes and without touching any surface, inject the medicine directly into the eye.
  • Press the dropper and inject the medicine into the lower eyelid.
  • Wipe off excess liquid with a clean tissue.
