It is combination of antispasmodic and laxative. This medication effectively alleviates symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, such as abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and diarrhea or constipation. It prevents sudden muscle spasms, providing relief from stomach discomfort.
It combine two medicines: Mebeverine and Ispaghula. Mebeverine, an antispasmodic, relaxes intestinal muscles, relieving spasms. Ispaghula, a laxative, absorbs water and softens the stool, making it easier to pass.
Use it in dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.
Consuming alcohol with this drug does not cause any harmful side effects.
This drug is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
