Mitotax 300mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication containing the active constituent paclitaxel. It is used to treat breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and AIDS (Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome) related Kaposi’s sarcoma. This medication may also be used to treat cancers in the cervix, bladder, skin, and esophagus.
Mitotax 300mg Injection inhibits the microtubule structures present in the cell. Microtubule structures help cancer cells to divide and multiply. Inhibition of these structures slows the growth of cancer cells.
Mitotax 300mg Injection may be given alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines. This chemotherapy medication is contraindicated in patients with severe liver problems, uncontrolled infection, and low white blood cell or platelet count. Talk to your doctor if you have heart disorders before taking this medicine.
Mitotax 300mg Injection can harm your unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant before taking this medication.
Stop breastfeeding during the treatment with Mitotax 300mg Injection. Consult your doctor for potential risks.
It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver disorders. Inform your doctor if you have any liver disorders before taking Mitotax 300mg Injection.
