Milmafin Plus 170ml contains magnesium hydroxide (osmotic laxative), liquid paraffin (lubricant), and sodium picosulfate (stimulant laxative). Laxatives increase peristaltic movement (wave-like movements in the intestine) which supports the movement of stools in the forward direction. Liquid Paraffin is a lubricant laxative that makes the stool soft by retaining water and making it easier to pass. Magnesium Hydroxide performs the osmotic function i.e., attracts water from the body to the intestine through osmosis. Together, they make stools soft and easier to pass.
