Mercidine OZ Ointment

It is an antiseptic containing Povidone Iodine and Ornidazole. Povidone Iodine is applied on infected skin or affected area which is likely to get infected. This formula slowly releases iodine which kills infectious microorganisms and retards their growth. Ornidazole is an antibiotic act by killing infectious microorganisms and other bacteria by penetrating the cell membrane and damaging the DNA.

• Take this medicine by following the doctor''s suggested dose and duration
• Read the “Direction for use” section on the label
• Gently massage the ointment at the affected area; ensure to clean and dry the infected area before application of ointment

• For external use only Do not swallow
• Avoid contact with eyes If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
• Do not use on large or deep wounds without medical advice
• Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs

• Beneficial in treating infections caused by harmful bacteria and miroorganisms
