How do you use methoxsalen?

Take this medication by mouth with low fat food or milk, usually 90 minutes to 2 hours before your UVA light treatment or as directed by your doctor. Taking methoxsalen with food helps to increase absorption of the medication and also decreases nausea.

What is the use of Melanocyl?

Melanocyl Tablet is a medicine used along with controlled ultraviolet light for effective treatment of certain skin diseases like vitiligo and psoriasis.

Is sunlight good for vitiligo?

You must protect your skin from the sun and do not use sunbeds. When skin is exposed to sunlight, it produces a pigment called melanin to help protect it from ultraviolet (UV) light. However, if you have vitiligo there is not enough melanin in your skin, so it is not protected.
