Ecosprin-AV 75 Capsule is a combined drug of two medicines: Aspirin and Atorvastatin; which prevents stroke and heart attack. Atorvastatin helps to lower the lipid levels that inhibit an enzyme that promotes the production of cholesterol. It reduces the level of "bad" cholesterol (LDL); triglycerides and levels up the amount of "good" cholesterol (HDL). Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It prevents the sticking of platelets together and reduces the harmful blood clots formation.
If you miss a dose then take the medicine when you remember. Do not double up the dose.
