Its formulation has two main constituents Empagliflozin and Metformin. Empagliflozin reduces glucose reabsorption and increases the excretion of glucose in urine which results in decrease of glucose level in the blood. Metformin is a biguanide that works by lowering the production of glucose in the liver, delaying the absorption of glucose in the intestine, and increase the body's sensitivity to insulin.

• This medicine can be taken before or after having a meal.
• Do not exceed the dose without doctor's advice.

• Regularly monitor your blood sugar levels.
• If you have any history of urinary tract infections and you take water pills, inform your doctor.
