Introduction to IBSET Tablet 15s

It contains Ramosetron (5mcg). It is used to prevent nausea and vomiting in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy. It is also used to treat diarrhea in patients with symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.

It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain. This action helps in preventing nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatments like chemotherapy or after surgery.

Nausea is the uneasy sensation of wanting to vomit, while vomiting is the forceful expulsion of stomach contents through the mouth. Both are common symptoms of various medical conditions or reactions.

Take this drug as prescribed by the doctor, either with or without food.

If you missed a dose then continue next day same time.
