Gufisome 50mg Injection is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of severe fungal infections and kala-azar. It kills the infection causing fungi and thus, treats the infection.
Gufisome 50mg Injection is administered as an injection by a healthcare professional. Kindly do not self administer. Before you take this medicine, inform your doctor if you suffer from diabetes, liver/kidney problems or are on dialysis or have low potassium level in blood.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Gufisome 50mg Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Gufisome 50mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Gufisome 50mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Gufisome 50mg Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Gufisome 50mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Gufisome 50mg Injection is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of Gufisome 50mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
