Iron deficiency is a condition where your body doesn't get enough vitamins or minerals (especially Iron, Zinc, Folic acid and Vitamin B 12) which is required for it to function properly. This can happen either because your diet doesn’t contain enough nutrients or due to issues with absorption of those nutrients in the body. The related symptoms include tiredness, weakness, and poor immune function.
