It is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease. It relieves symptoms like heartburn and stomach pain by reducing stomach acid production. It is prescribed by doctors to relieve symptoms of acid reflux, peptic ulcers, and associated discomfort.
It contains two medicines: Lafutidine and Domperidone. Lafutidine reduces stomach acid production, relieving heartburn and acid reflux. Domperidone acts on the brain and upper digestive tract to enhance stomach and intestine movement, aiding smoother food passage.

Futaden D 10 mg/30 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Lafutidine and Domperidone, which relieves symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Lafutidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
