Fosfofic Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby however, there are limited human studies.
Fosfofic Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Fosfofic Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Fosfofic Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fosfofic Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Use of Fosfofic Injection is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of Fosfofic Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Fosfofic Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for their survival.
