It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of cancer cells which helps to treat cancer by killing the cancer cells.
It is given as an injection into a vein by the healthcare professional, but better if injected at the same time every day. You are advised to take the medicine for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition.
