Consuming alcohol while taking ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Use of ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
ECOSMIN 30MG/150MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Isosorbide Mononitrate and Aspirin which prevent future episodes of angina. Isosorbide mononitrate dilates the blood vessels of the body. As a result, work load on the heart is reduced which in turn decreases heart-related chest pain. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medicine. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
