Doxycycline: Doxycycline works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, preventing the addition of amino acids to the growing peptide chain, which effectively stops bacterial growth and replication.
Respiratory Tract Infections: Respiratory tract infections like pneumonia and bronchitis are caused by bacteria that affect the airways and lungs. Acne: Acne is a common skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Bacteria can exacerbate acne, leading to inflammation and pus-filled lesions.
