Dothin 25mg Tablet increases the levels of noradrenaline and serotonin in the brain by blocking their reuptake, enhancing their effects in the synaptic cleft. It interacts with α2-adrenoceptors, promoting noradrenaline release for antidepressant effects. Can I use Dothin for fibromyalgia?

Yes. Dothin is not approved for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is a pain syndrome with tenderness but no structural pathology in muscles, ligamanets or joints.

Can I use Dothin for nerve pain?

Yes. Dothin is indicated for the treatment of nerve pain/neuropathic pain. How to stop Dothin?

Is Dothin the same as doxepin?

Dothin and doxepin are different medicines but belong to the similar chemical class. Doxepin, at low doses, can improve sleep in patients with insomnia. It is also available in the topical form for use in various neuro-dermatitis syndrome, especially itching.

Can I take Dothin with diazepam?

It is better to avoid this combination. Diazepam is a sedative drug and Dothin may cause sedation as a side effect too. Taking both of them together can increase the drowsiness or sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you are taking diazepam.
